A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“It's a nice hotel in an EXCELLENT location less than 5 mom on foot to Bodensee. It has a restaurant and bar which also hosts Check in for guests that arrive at late hours. Parking is a nightmare in the area as it is in a residential area and so you have to search a considerable amount of time to find something close to the hotel. Otherwise you have to park further away and take a bus to the hotel. I removed a star for a few reasons but it would not stop me from staying there again. 1, the room had an air conditioner but no means of turning it on. 2, the floors were creaky, I know that sounds pretty but it was pretty loud (not a major issue to be honest), that said, it has carpet over wood floors so the creaky wood makes sense. 3, the shower door was less than ideal, water would leak all over the bathroom no Matter what you did to try and stop it. 4, I went to the bar at 2240 to get a non alcoholic drink, they said they close at 2300 and wouldn't serve me a drink... A simple soda! I found that annoyingly annoying. All of the staff were OUTSTANDINGLY polite and friendly and you could tell they genuinely liked their jobs, so it is a good reflection of the management/owner of the establishment. I'd stay there again without question. Great place!”
“Rooms are great - comfortable and newly refurbished. I like that the area is lively - the pub below the rooms and the park opposite are centres of activity. But noise insulation is excellent so you hear nothing in your rooms. Great location. The cute Niederberg streets are a short hop away over the bridge. The town centre is a 15 min walk away. The staff were very helpful. I was just handed a packed breakfast at 6:30am by one of the kitchen staff with a large warm grin on her face.”
“Amazing one night stay in this hotel! Large and comfy bedroom, kind and helpful staff, great location close to center, and the pub downstairs very nice with vegan/veggies options. Don't hesitate!”
“Neat and clean rooms. Not very big but all you need if you don't plan on sitting in your room. Great breakfast with loads of options and quality food. Good price for what you get and one of the cheapest places we found in the general area. Helpful staff who are happy to provide information and coupons to the best of their abilities. The only negative point I can find are the lack of parking spots near the hotel (even finding a place to unpack the car was tricky) and the water temperature in the showers with which I could not come to a mutual understanding. Over very good for the price. Don't expect anything better for less money in the area.”
